Training session for new crew. Started with induction/familiarisation to the vessel (MR1) and the startup procedures.

Then a mock call was placed by a member of the public with vague information about a breakdown and that they required assistance to get home. The crew had to work through getting enough information out of them to locate them out passed the reef. Tow checklist procedure was performed and the vessel was towed back to Plimmerton Boating Club, with the crew thinking that it was a real operation.

Following that a quick local area familiarisation was done to spot the lights and key landmarks from out near Te Rewarewa Point.
