Tuesday night SAREX

Briefing by NZ Police in preparation for the upcoming SAREX (Search and Rescue excercise) up at Kapiti this coming weekend followed by a training excercise with Porirua Rescue searching for a large rectangular liferaft that was deployed by CRV Pelorus out near Mana Island.

Search patterns including Creeping Line Ahead and Expanding Box were used to search for the leferaft in a simulated excercise.
