Tuesday night training

Tonight's training was a simulated rescue. CRV Pelorus was the a vessel in distress and was sent to sea to hide. Porirua rescue was then tasked to go look for Pelorus. The exercise involved the master correctly tasking the crews, setting and running the search.

When Pelorus was found Porirua rescue then had to carry out a tow pick up and return Pelorus safely back to the marina
