Tuesday night training session

Porirua was being hit with a weather bomb on Tuesday night with very heavy rain and poor visability. Both vessels put to sea in a controlled exercise to check navigation skills and communications in these poor conditions. This exercise was being directed as part of their training by the Mana SAR team

Along side this training and in the warm and dry the Unit Training Officer ran the NZ SAR and Personal Safety modules for the newer members of the unit
