Navigation

This point is a large rocky outcrop that, along with Tokaapapa Reef, is one of the main navigational hazards when approaching Plimmerton and Porirua Harbour. There are no navigation markers or lights on this point but there is a 3-sector navigation light on Goat Point to safely guide vessels into Porirua Harbour to the north of these rocks.
