Small orange runabout with engine problems dialled our public information number and requested assistance to get back to Mana. They had no VHF and no cellphone (possible dead battery). They managed to hail down a passing vessel and they were the ones that called us.

We responded with a callout and as we were departing the harbour we spotted them being towed back in by another vessel. We came alongside andchecked that they had been at Mana Island and were the ones that contacted us, which they confirmed. We stood down and the tow was completed by the other vessel.
