A Supporter member is a member who pays an annual subscription to belong to their local Coastguard Unit. This membership allows them to make use of all the additional non emergency services that Coastguard provides, and provides assurance and peace of mind, that if they get into difficulty out on the water, the Coastguard will be there to help them out.
A supporter membership is not restricted to those people who own boats. Other people who enjoy water activities should also consider the benefits available to them if they are a member of their local Coastguard. Kayakers, fishermen and divers in particular are also assisted by the Coastguard should they get into difficulty.
All donations (payments over and above $45 or donation-only contributions) are tax deductible and GST exempt. The subscription/membership fee of $45 includes GST. Our GST # is 69 601 405.
