A Supporter member is a member who pays an annual subscription to belong to their local Coastguard Unit. This membership provides assurance and peace of mind that if they get into difficulty out on the water their local Coastguard will be there to help them out.
A supporter membership is not restricted to those people who own boats. Other people who enjoy water activities should also consider the benefits available to them if they are a member of their local Coastguard. Kayakers, fishermen and divers in particular are also assisted by Coastguard should they get into difficulty.
All donations (payments over and above $45 or donation-only contributions) are tax deductible and GST exempt. The subscription/membership fee of $45 includes GST. Our GST # is 69 601 405.
